WHAT'S IN A NAME?

“The Bridge” may seem like an unlikely name for a church, until you consider the fact that God sent His Son to be a bridge to fallen man. By laying down His life for all mankind, Jesus became the bridge to a relationship with God.

Once restored to God, the church is to be a place that links people together to become the body of Christ, and so the church is a bridge to one another in the family of God.

Finally, the church is God’s bridge to a lost world. Jesus did His part by laying down His life for the world, but now God works through the church to extend the message of love and forgiveness.

It is our desire at the Bridge Community Church of Northern Kentucky to live out these three ideals (Being a Bridge to God, a Bridge to one another, and a Bridge to a lost world) reflected in our name.
